LGBTQIA2S+ Friendly Businesses on Whyte

  |     |   On The Ave

Happy Pride Month, everyone!

Our team here at Southpark on Whyte wanted to share with you a few of our favourite LGBTQIA2S+ friendly businesses located right here #OnTheAve.

1. The Grindstone Comedy Theatre and Bistro is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2011 which aims to create professional opportunities for emerging artists through high quality productions, and they are ALWAYS LGBTQIA2S+ friendly. From dancing, drinks, live shows and more – they are the perfect place to go for a night-out during Pride Month (and every month afterwards).

3. Spotlight Cabaret is an LGBTQIA2S+ friendly restaurant, bar, rooftop patio, and live venue that showcases dinner theatre, burlesque, drag, improv, comedy and live music in an unforgettable “roaring twenties” themed atmosphere. We highly suggest getting tickets to their Ruby’s Pride Drag Brunch this month!

4. Adara Hair & Body Studio is a progressive, green-minded salon. Make an appointment to meet with their highly trained and exceedingly creative stylists who are dedicated to providing you with a relaxing experience where you leave feeling rejuvenated and radiant. The salon is not only great for the environment but has been trained by Edmonton Pride Center and received official LGBTQ Safe Space Training. They adhere to one standard of beauty – yours.
